Nelson Wins ACC Player of the Week

Maryland senior attack Cathy Nelson was named ACC Player of the Week for her performance during the week of April 20.
This is the second such selection for Nelson, who was named the ACC Player of the Week on March 23. The Ellicott City, Md. native had two hat tricks on the week, including a career-high six-goal performance against Penn State on Saturday. Nelson's work moved her into eighth place in the top-10 all-time at Maryland in career goals.
Maryland improved to 13-3 overall on the season.
