Postgame quotes from Maryland head coach Chris Weller following the Terps' 74-58 win at Clemson.
On the Clemson game: "It was a huge win. Probably the biggest win we've had in two years. It's always
great to get one on the road in the ACC. To start on the road and get a win is just phenomenal. The kids
played hard. We're trying to learn how to play comfortably by playing hard and finding out how to relax at
the same time."
On adjustments and balance: "Clemson got out on Tiff better [in the second half].
And they also pushed the ball better, themselves. They were pushing the ball after we scored. They caught us
celebrating a little. They were able to set the tempo and they got back in the game. But we adjusted finally
and I was pleased. Overall, the inside game came alive and that's because they had to concentrate on Tiff.
That's exactly what you want. You can't ask for more than that. They gave us the outside game in the first
half and we stuck it. They gave us the inside game in the second half and we converted. I'm proud of them
for exhibiting a pretty balanced attack."
