Gustafson, Hollenbach Student-Athletes Of The Week

Junior Sara Gustafson (Reisterstown, Md.) and junior men's soccer player Beckett Hollenbach (Fairfax Station, Va.) have been named the Maryland Student-Athletes of the Week for their performances the week of Oct. 9-15.
A junior forward, Gustafson tied the Maryland women's soccer record for goals in a game with four as the Terps defeated Howard 9-0 last Wednesday night at Ludwig Field. The mark is the new record for most goals at Ludwig Field by either a Maryland men's or women's player. She currently leads the team with seven goals and 16 points.
A junior co-captain, Hollenbach led the men's soccer team's defensive core in two key victories over regional opponents last week. The back-to-back wins were the first string of victories for the injury-ridden Terps team in over a month. A second-team All-ACC pick last season, Hollenbach is a three-year starter on the defense. Both of Maryland's victories last week were shutouts for the Terrapins, giving the team five shutouts for the season.
