Terps Defeat NC State Volleyball In Five Games

RALEIGH, N.C.- The University of Maryland women's volleyball team won its fourth consecutive match of the season Tuesday night defeating ACC-foe NC State (3-2) 10-15, 15-13, 12-15, 15-10, 15-13, in Raleigh, N.C.

It was the second straight five-game win of the season for the Terps as they defeated Connecticut this past Saturday at Ritchie Coliseum.

The Terrapins trailed 9-4 in the final game before rallying to defeat the Wolfpack for the second time this season. With the victory, the Terps improve to 13-8 overall and 4-5 in the ACC. The 13 victories for the Terps already surpasses the total of 12 Maryland had in 1999. NC State falls to 7-14 on the season and 1-8 in the conference.
