Terps Prepare For NC State Saturday At Byrd Stadium

On NC State: "NC State is one of the surprise teams in the country this season. They won two games early against Arkansas State and Indiana and they just picked up some steam from that and are playing good football. They have done a good job on both sides of the ball so we are going to have to really be at the top of our game to be in a position to compete with these guys."
On NC State freshman quarterback Philip Rivers: "I think Philip Rivers is a good young player and is a really heady quarterback. He has done a nice job for the Wolfpack this season."
On NC State wide receiver Koren Robinson:Koren Robinson is a big-time receiver. He has tremendous potential as we all know."
On NC State tailback Ray Robinson: "Ray Robinson we have faced for the third year now and he is a good football player."
On the Wolfpack defense: "NC State's defense has fast, active linebackers. They have ten starters back from last season and that is significant. Their free safety, Adrian Wilson, is a good player. They play hard and rotate a lot of players through."
