
Terps And Jackets Kickoff At Noon Next Weekend

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland Terrapins host their final home football game of the season on Nov. 18 in a game to be televised at noon on the Jefferson-Pilot sports network.
Maryland, 5-4 overall and 3-3 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, travels to North Carolina this weekend before hosting the Yellow Jackets in the 2000 regular season finale.
It will be the final home game for Maryland's senior class which includes record-breaking running back LaMont Jordan. Jordan has had the best games of his career at Byrd Stadium, including a 306-yard outburst against Virginia in the 1999 regular season finale. Overall, Jordan has rushed for 2,275 yards and a 108-yard per game average in 21 appearances at Byrd Stadium.
