* Maryland is advancing to its third ACC title game in the tournament's four-year history,
* The win was the Terps 13th straight over Virginia. The last time the Cavs beat Maryland was March 23, 1993.
* Senior Christie Jenkins pushed her scoring streak to 48 straight games after scoring one goal and one assists against Virginia.
* Junior Jen Adams extended her scoring streak to 45 straight games. She has also netted at least one goal in the past 26 games.
* Junior Quinn Carney continued her scoring streak to 43 games with her three-point performance against the Cavs Saturday.
* No. 1 Maryland's win over No. 8 Virginia was the Terps' 11th win over a ranked team this season.
* Jen Adams moved past Judy Dougherty (1978-81) with her two-point performance today on Maryland's all-time points list. Adams now has 250 points for her career. Kelly Amonte (1993-96) is No. 1 in Maryland history with 319 points.
* On the career goals list, Jen Adams is now tied with Laura Harmon (1992-95) at the No. 4 spot with 150 career goals.
* Jen Adams' asssist Saturday was No. 100 for her career. That puts her third on Maryland's all-time assists list.
* Maryland advances to the conference final to face North Carolina. The Tar Heels are the only team to have beaten the Terps this year. The Heels' came out on top of a 14-13 triple-overtime contest on March 5 in Chapel Hill.
* The Terps' improve to 5-1 overall in the ACC Tournament. Maryland has never lost an ACC title game. They were the champions in 1997 and 1999. North Carolina has been the only team to beat the Terps in the ACC Tournament, downing Maryland 12-10 in the semifinals in 1998.
