Changes In Store For Terps' Radio Broadcast Of FSU Game

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Due to scheduling conflicts with the Baltimore Orioles, the University of Maryland's Thursday night football game versus second-ranked Florida State will be heard live in the Baltimore area on WNST Radio (1570 AM) and tape delayed in its entirety on WBAL (1090 AM). The tape delay version on WBAL will begin immediately following the conclusion of the Orioles' game against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Kickoff from Byrd Stadium on Thursday is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. EDT. Radio coverage of the game begins with the pregame show at 7:20 p.m. John Wagner calls the play-by-play while Steve Stewart will join in with color analysis.
Thursday's game - Maryland's opener in the Atlantic Coast Conference - will also be televised live on ESPN and carried to a national radio audience on Westwood One.
Baltimore's WBAL, along with WTEM Radio (980 AM), are flagship stations of the Maryland Football Radio Network. Other stations on the network include Cumberland (WTBO, 1450 AM), Frederick (WFMD, 930 AM), Hagerstown (WARK, 1490 AM), Lexington Park (WMDM, 1690 AM), Oakland/Mountain Lake Park (WMSG, 1050 AM), Pocomoke City (WDMV, 540 AM), Salisbury (WTGM, 960 AM).
