White Team Wins Maryland Men's Lacrosse Scrimmage, 9-8

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - In Maryland's Red-White scrimmage this past Friday night, the White Team defeated the Red Team, 9-8.

Brothers Dan LaMonica (Parkton, Md.) and Mike LaMonica (Prakton, Md.) each scored two goals for the white team and Nate Watkins (Elmira, N.Y.) netted two goals and added an assist for the winning White Team.

Sean Leary (Troy, Mich.) led the Red Team with three goals while Mike Morsell (Huntingdon Valley, Pa.) totalled four points on two goals and two assists. J.R. Bordley (Vienna, Va.) added two assists for the Red Team.

Goalie Dan McCormick (McLean, Va.) made 10 saves for the winning White Team.

Maryland returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 20 as the Terps play the Genessee Valley Fall Tournament in Northern Baltimore County Md. Maryland will take on Towson, UMBC and Penn State.
