SUMMING UP THE PRINETON WIN
* Five different Terps scored in Maryland's 5-2 rout of Princeton Wednesday. Both Robert Sjolund (Borlang, Sweden) and Michael Dello-Russo (Columbia, Md.) scored their first collegiate goals in the second half. Redshirt-sophomore Siba Mohammed (Tamale, Ghana) scored his first goal of the season, with classmate Sumed Ibrahim (Tamale, Ghana) netting his first game-winner in 2001 despite leading the Terps in scoring with four goals and six assists. Wes Kirk (Bloomfield, N.J.) was the only first-half goal scorer, getting his second career goal.
* An unbelievable 10 Terrapins notched points in the game, Including Jason Arnold (Fairfax Station, Va.) who recorded his first career assist.
Sumed Heats Up
Redshirt-sophomore Sumed Ibrahim has been hot all season for the Terps, scoring goals and setting them up with great frequency. The Ghana-native is averaging 1.75 ppg and leads the team in goals (4) with A.J Herrera and assists (6). Eight games in, Sumed has scored four-times as much as his freshman year totals when a nagging groin injury held the midfidler back. That year, he scored one goal and had two assists in 20 games.
