
4 Terps To Be Honored By D.C. Pigskin Club

Three members of the University of Maryland's ACC championship football team and director of athletics Deborah A. Yow will be among the featured honorees when the Pigskin Club of Washington, D.C., holds its 64th annual awards banquet Jan. 11.
First-year Terp coach Ralph Friedgen, who has already pulled in no less than six national Coach of the Year honors, has been named the Division I NCAA Coach of the Year by the Pigskin Club. The club also selected linebacker E.J. Henderson as the Division I Defensive Player of the Year, and tailback Bruce Perry as as the Division I Offensive Player of the Year.
Yow will be recognized as the Collegiate Sports Executive of the Year.
