Terps Move To 6th In ESPN/USA Today Top 25

University of Maryland's Orange Bowl-bound football team Sunday achieved the program's highest ranking since 1978 when it climbed one spot to the No. 6 position in the final regular season ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Top 25 poll.
Maryland has been ranked seventh or tied for seventh the past two weeks.
In late October and early November of 1978, the Terps were ranked No. 5 on their way to a berth in the Sun Bowl.
