Fan Services Enhanced For Maryland Football

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - University of Maryland officials have added a series of new services for Terrapin football games this fall, aimed at enhancing the stadium experience for Byrd Stadium fans.
Among the new fan services for the 2001 season include:
* 27 new points of service and cash registers around Byrd Stadium,
* 5 new Pepsi carts added to the concourse and club levels,
* A Starbucks Coffee cart to be located under the Tyser Tower press box,
* A new cart called "Terrapin Tots" for fans ages 8 and under, where everything is on sale for just $1,
* For at the first three "warm weather" games, a fruit and water stand will be available on the concourse,
* All prices have remained the same for a third consecutive season, with the exception of Nick's Italian Sausage Sandwich, which has increased by just $0.25,
* One window in most concession stands will be accepting all major credit cards.
