Maryland football has notched back-to-back 10-win seasons and is headed to its second consecutive bowl game!

The Terps will play in the 2002 Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta on Dec. 31 at 7:30 p.m.. The game will be televised live from the Georgia Dome. The Terps will face Tennessee.

Bowl ticket order forms and procedures have already been mailed to all Terrapin Club, M Club and MGN members, football season ticket holders, and Alumni Association members.

The priority ticket deadline to order is Dec. 6, 2002. Please read the bowl information carefully, and be sure to reply by the deadline.

INFORMATION ON MARYLAND'S BOWL TICKET ALLOTMENT

Maryland has approximately 20,000 tickets available for purchase. The Terps get "credit" only for those tickets purchased through the athletic department.

Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl President Gary Stokan specifically referenced Maryland's strong presence at the Orange Bowl and Kickoff Classic as key factor in the decision to offer the Terps a bid.

Guarantee your Georgia Dome seats in the Maryland section and help continue to grow the Terps' reputation as a great traveling team by purchasing your tickets through the Terrapin Ticket Office.

The Peach Bowl has provided the Terps with the following ticket allotment at the Georgia Dome:

     >  Sections 114 - 120  =  1,000 tickets
     >  Sections 121 - 129  =  5,454 tickets
     >  Sections 228 - 241  =  3,114 tickets (Club Level)
     >  Sections 315 - 338  =  9,945 tickets
