The remaining tickets for this weekend's ACC football matchup between Maryland and NC State went quickly Thursday evening, meaning a sellout crowd will be on hand for the Saturday afternoon showdown in Byrd Stadium.
Kickoff is set for noon. The game will be televised on a split-national basis by ABC.
Maryland, winner of six consecutive games, brings a 7-2 overall record and 3-1 conference mark into the contest. NC State, which suffered its first loss in 10 games last Saturday vs. Georgia Tech, is 9-1 overall and 4-1 in the ACC. Both teams are chasing front-running Florida State for the ACC title and the Bowl Championship Series berth which is awarded to the conference champion.
