
Former Maryland Coach Dick Edell To Handle Color Commentary For ACC Lacrosse Championships

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Former Maryland men's lacrosse coach Dick Edell will handle the color commentary for the ACC Lacrosse Championships being held this Sunday at Duke University in Durham, N.C. The legendary coach will be calling both the women's championship at noon and the men's title game at 3 p.m. The games will be broadcast live on Comcast SportsNet, Fox Sports South and Sunshine Network.
Edell will be working for ACC Live host Mike Hogewood, who will do play-by-play and Jim Noble, who will work the sidelines.
Edell retired as Maryland's coach on Sept. 3, 2001 after 18 successful seasons including 13 NCAA Tournament appearances and three ACC championships.
