NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. -
The Maryland men's lacrosse team had six players named USILA All-Americans on Monday. Junior defenseman Michael Holwey (Wantagh, N.Y.) was named to the second team for the second straight year. He was joined by junior midfielder and the team's leading scorer Mike Mollot (Holbrook, N.Y.) on the second team.
Sophomore defenseman Chris Passavia (Stony Brook, N.Y.) was named to the third team.
The Terps also had three players earn honorable mention All-American accolades: sophomore attacker Dan LaMonica (Parkton, Md.), junior goalie Dan McCormick (McLean, Va.) and senior midfielder Nate Watkins (Elmira, N.Y.)
The Terps finished the season 9-4.
