Updating Former Terps In Major League Lacrosse

Former Terps are making an impact in Major League Lacrosse this season.

The Rochester Rattlers (2-3 overall) feature four Terps that play prominent roles. Attacker Matt Hahn (at Maryland 1995-98) has eight goals and three assists for 11 points playing in all five games. Midfiedler Nate Watkins (1999-2002), who joined the team after his senior season at Maryland, has played in the last four games, posting five goals and six assists for 11 points.

Casey Connor (1997-2000) has played in all five games, starting two on close defense. In net, Brian Dougherty (1993-96) has started all five games, winning two. He has allowed 12.0 goals per game and is stopping 55.3 percent of the shots he faces.

The league-leading Baltimore Bayhawks (6-2) have two former Terps that have made key contributions. Midfielder Kip Fulks (1994-95) has played in all eight games, scoring three goals and adding an assist for four points. Brian Reese (1995-98) has started all eight games on defense and been a key to Baltimore's stellar start.

The New Jersey Pride (3-3) also have two former Terps in midfielder Chris Malone (1998-2001), who has three goals and an assist for four points in six games. Defenseman Jason Carrier (1997-2000) has also seen time with the Pride.

Attackman Scott Hochstadt (1996-99) is also on the Bridgeport Barrage's roster, but has not played this season.
