Terp Rookie Linebacker To Be Featured On HBO, ESPN Tuesday Evening

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -
Freshman linebacker Randy Earle, who lost four members of his family to AIDS-related illnesses, will be featured on HBO's Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel and ESPN SportsCenter this Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Both pieces detail the many challenges faced by Earle as a youngster.
The ESPN piece airs during the SportsCenter at 6 p.m. ET. The HBO segment will air at 10 p.m. ET.
ESPN's feature first aired on the Sunday morning SportsCenter Aug. 18. It is scheduled for a third airing on Saturday, Sept. 7 on ESPN's College GameDay.
Earle, a freshman from North Massapequa, N.Y., is in his first season with the Terps.
