Two-a-days came to a close on Friday with a pair of shortened workouts for the University of Maryland football team.
The weekend schedule calls for just one workout, that coming Saturday afternoon when Maryland hosts its annual FanFest. Sunday is an off day.
Terrapin fans are invited to watch Saturday's practice, which is scheduled to run from 3:30-5:40 p.m. on the team's practice field adjacent to Shipley Field. Following the workout, players will be available for autographs.
"I pulled off a little bit today because the team has been working real hard," said the second-year Terrapin coach. "I think they hit the wall today. I know when I got out of bed this morning I was tired, so you only know what they are."
The Terps are scheduled for single workout sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week. The team is scheduled to depart for the Kickoff Classic around mid-day Thursday.
