Maryland's Erwin Diaz Named ACC Player of the Week:
Freshman Explodes for Three Goals in Two Games
Maryland's Erwin Diaz (Washington, D.C.) earned Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week honors after leading the Terrapins to a 2-0 record this past week. Diaz, a Washington, D.C. native, netted three goals en route to victories over William & Mary (4-1) and No. 20 Duke (3-0).

Diaz has four goals and an assist on the season and Maryland is off to its best start since 1968 when the Terps won a share of the NCAA Title and finished with a 14-0-1 record.
Sumed Ibrahim On College Soccer News Team of the Week:
Ghana-Native Scored Game-winner Against ACC-Rival Duke
Maryland's Sumed Ibrahim (Tamale, Ghana) has been named to the College Soccer News Team of the Week after scoring the Terps' game-winning goal against No. 20 Duke on Sunday. The victory was the Terps' second over a ranked opponent this season and got Maryland off to its best start since 1968, the year they were NCAA co-champions.
The goal was Sumed's fifth of the year and he is currently second on the team in points with 14 behind Abe Thompson (Fairfax Station, Va.). Sumed has accounted for four of the Terps' seven game-winning goals.
No. 4 Maryland hosts Manhattan on Wednesday at 7 p.m. on Ludwig Field. The Terps then travel to No. 10 Wake Forest for a Friday night clash that begins at 7 p.m. at Spry Stadiu
