
Maryland's Clarence Goodson Named To Soccer America Team of the Week

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Terps' sophomore defender Clarence Goodson (Springfield, Va.) was named to this week's Soccer America Team of the Week after playing to solid games for the Terps last week, highlighted by an assist on Maryland's third goal against Duke. Maryland shutout the Blue Devils for the defense's third shutout of the eight-game old season and second ACC win. Goodson has one goal and one assist this season for Maryland.
Maryland meets Manhattan Wednesday night at Ludwig Field before traveling to Winston-Salem, N.C., on Friday to meet No. 8 Wake Forest in a Top 10 ACC match-up at 7p.m. at Spry Stadium.
