Henderson, 7 Others Named To ECAC All-Star Football Team

Eight members of the University of Maryland football team have been recognized as ECAC All-Stars, the league office announced Wednesday.
Senior linebacker E.J. Henderson, a consensus first team All-American and winner of the Butkus and Bednarik awards, was a repeat selection as the ECAC Defensive Player of the Year.
Other first-team honorees included offensive lineman Todd Wike, return specialist Steve Suter, and kicker Nick Novak.
Terps earning honorable mention were offensive lineman Matt Crawford, tailback Chris Downs, cornerback Domonique Foxworth and punter Brooks Barnard.
The ECAC will hold its annual football awards banquet at the Meadowlands in February.
