Maryland Men's Lacrosse Team To Be Featured On FOX 5 Sunday Night

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 5 Maryland men's lacrosse team will be featured on FOX 5 television (WTTG) in Washington, D.C., Sunday night as part of the station's Sports Extra show which airs at 11 p.m.

Fox's Lou Holder interviewed several players and head coach Dave Cottle to preview the 2003 season and the Terps' hopes for a run to the national championship in Baltimore.

Check out the feature Sunday night at 11 p.m. on Sports Extra on FOX 5 in Washington, D.C.

The Terps look to open their 2003 regular-season next Saturday, March 1, as they host No. 7 Duke at 1 p.m. That game will be televised live by WMAR Channel 2 in Baltimore.

Maryland's scheduled regular-season opener for Saturday, Feb. 22 against No. 6 Georgetown was postponed due to unplaybale field conditions in College Park. That game will be made up in April.
