COLLEGE PARK, Md. -
Maryland guard Renneika Razor (New York, N.Y.) will continue her basketball career when she steps on a airplane for Cleveland Tuesday to head for the Rocker's training camp. Razor was the Terps' leading scorer this season and also led the league in steals most of the year.
"We're all very happy for Renneika," said Terrapins head coach Brenda Frese. "Going to Cleveland will be an excellent opportunity for her to improve her game, showcase her skills, and continue her career. We wish her all the best."
Razor led the Terps in rebounding and scoring most of the season, and paced the Terps' defense with 85 steals. She was named to the second team all-ACC and was also a member of the conference's all-defense squad. For her career, she averaged over 10.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg.
