Terps To Learn Of NCAA Tournament Fate Tonight at 8 p.m.

May 4, 2003

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The 2003 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament bracket will be revealed tonight at 8 p.m. (ET) live on ESPNEWS (DirecTV Channel 207/Dish Network Channel 142).

The No. 4 Terps will enter the tournament with a 10-3 record and are hopefully of hosting a first-round game on either May 10 or May 11 at Byrd Stadium. Maryland will make its 26th NCAA appearance with the berth this season. That is the third most of any program in men's lacrosse history.

The Terps are also hopefully of gaining one of the top four seeds in the tournament. Maryland comes into the week riding a three-game win streak with all of those wins coming against teams ranked in the top 20 (No. 14 UMBC, No. 5 Georgetown and No. 18 Notre Dame). The Terps are 7-3 against the nation's top 20 and have two wins over the top 5 teams, having beaten No. 2 Virginia and No. 5 Georgetown.

Check umterps.com tonight to see who the Terps will play and where.
