Terrapin men's lacrosse team member Billy McGlone is making his presence known to the world in the U-19 International Lacrosse Federation World Championships taking place now at Towson University.
The rising sophomore attackman has scored five goals in three games, including a hat trick against Australia Friday, to help guide the United States to an undefeated 3-0 record. McGlone also netted single goals against Canada and the Iroquois Nation to aid the U.S. victories.
The team returns to action Tuesday against England at 5 p.m. at Towson Stadium. Playoffs begin July 2, ending with the boys' championship game Saturday, July 5 at approximately 8 p.m.
The United States has won every U-19 Championship, dating back to the first tournament in 1988 in Adelaide, Australia.
