Away Game Ticket Information

A significant number of tickets are available to the University of Maryland for each away football game. For most away games, any Maryland fan who wants tickets can get tickets, and can often purchase as many tickets as he/she wants to buy.

The Host Team, like Maryland, keeps the "best" tickets for their use. Very often, the block of tickets that Maryland receives is endzone only. This is a standard practice.

Ticket orders for away games, when placed earlier than 2 weeks before the game, are allocated in Terpoint order, using the following priority system.

Silver 250	$250-599	4	Unlimited, If Available
Silver	$125-2449	4	Unlimited, If Available

Tickets were assigned in the following order:

1st Opportunity - Current Terrapin Club members' priority orders in Terpoint order
2nd Opportunity - Current Terrapin Club members' orders beyond their priority limit
3rd Opportunity - Non-Terrapin Club members (includes former members that have not made a current donation) These orders are assigned based on the date the order was received.

**Orders placed 1-14 days before the game will be assigned the best available seats, remaining after the initial allocation**

Persons ordering more than their priority limit had their orders split, unless they specified for all seats to be assigned in non-priority order.

While we did not guarantee that we would be able to honor group-seating requests, every effort was made to do so. Each member of the group had to make the request, for the requests to be considered. Groups were assigned based on the member of the group with the fewest Terpoints.
