
Novak Named ACC Specialist of the Week

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - University of Maryland placekicker Nick Novak was named ACC Specialist of the Week for his play against The Citadel in last Saturday's 61-0 win at Byrd Stadium.
The Charlottesville, Va. native moved to fourth in the nation in field goals by nailing all four of his attempts in the Terps' 61-0 win over The Citadel. The 6-0, 183-pound junior was good on 4-for-4 PATs, in addition to having three kickoffs go for touchbacks.
Novak is 7-for-7 on the season in field goals and moved into third on the Terrapins' all-time points scored list with his 241 points.
