Terps-WVU Game to be Played as Scheduled

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The football game between Maryland and West Virginia will be played as scheduled on Saturday, Sept. 20 at Byrd Stadium, Terrapin athletics officials said Friday morning.

An assessment of the stadium was completed early Friday, including a structural survey. The stadium is ready to host the game, which is set for kickoff at 6:05 p.m. on Saturday.

As of Friday afternoon, some traffic signals were out on Route 1 and University Boulevard/MD-193, so fans are encouraged to get to the stadium early and expect delays both entering and leaving Byrd Stadium.
