ANNAPOLIS, Md. -
Matt Pandullo won the first bout of the evening for the University of Maryland, but Navy won the other pairings to earn a 39-3 victory over the Terrapins in a college wrestling dual match at the Naval Academy on Wednesday night.
The loss dropped the Terps to 1-2 on their dual-match season, while the Mids improved to 6-3.
Pandullo held onto a 6-5 decision over Brad Canterbury in the 125-pound bout, staying in control of Canterbury and avoiding an escape that could have tied the bout. Pandullo improved to 11-6 overall after winning his fifth straight match.
