COLLEGE PARK, Md. - University of Maryland head football coach Ralph Friedgen will be a guest today on the John Thompson Show on SportsTalk 980 AM in Washington, D.C. Coach Friedgen -- fresh off of a trip to Orlando for the college football coaches' convention -- will join the show just after 3:00 p.m.

Friedgen, who will head to Hawaii this weekend to begin preparations for next week's Hula Bowl (which he is a coach in), led the Terps to a third-straight season of 10 or more wins in 2003, capping the year with wins in 10 of the team's last 11 games and a decisive 41-7 victory over West Virginia in the Toyota Gator Bowl.

Next on the agenda for the Terrapin program is National Signing Day, which takes place this year on February 4th, and then spring football, which opens in March 31st.
