Terp Tidbits
Sophomore Pat Wilson made his first career start against the Nittany Lions.

Mediate has scored four goals in Maryland's last four games. His seven assists are a career high.
The Terps are 6-0-1 in games when Jason Garey scores a goal.
The loss to Penn State was Maryland's worst at home since Virginia blanked Maryland 3-0 in November of 2001. The three-goal differential was the largest since Wake Forest beat Maryland 3-0 in September of 2002.
Abe Thompson, Maryland's second leading scorer, missed the game Thursday with an ailing hamstring.

Tech has won four of its last five, including the last three. The Hokies last loss came on Oct. 1 against Clemson, a 1-0 decision for the Tigers.
Virginia Tech and Penn State played earlier this season, with the Nittany Lions coming away with the victory. Other than Duke, the two teams do not have any other common opponents this season.
