COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland lacrosse teams will play a doubleheader at the new Lacrosse & Field Hockey Complex across the street from Comcast Center on Saturday. The men's team will take on Syracuse in the final scrimmage of the preseason at Noon. That will be followed by the women's regular-season opener against Richmond at approximately 3 p.m.

The Maryland men's team is ranked No. 5 in the preseason coaches poll and has looked strong in two preseason scrimmages at Loyola and No. 4 Princeton. The Terps open the regular-season at No. 6 Georgetown next Saturday, Feb. 28 in Washington, D.C.

The women are ranked No. 2 in the preseason poll and begin their quest for the 11th national championship in school history.
