
Men's Soccer Spring Schedule Released

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland, a 2003 national semifinalist, has announced its spring schedule for the 2004 season. The slate includes significant challenges from both the collegiate and professional ranks.
The Terps open the spring schedule against Indiana, the 2003 NCAA champions, on Saturday, April 3, at 4 p.m. That game will be played at Columbus Crew Stadium prior to the MLS season-opener between the Crew and the MetroStars, which will start at 7:30 p.m.
Maryland will play host to the Richmond Kickers of the A-League on Friday, April 9, at 7 p.m. The game will be played at Ludwig Field. The Terps will then travel to Cary, N.C., for the ACC Spring Challenge on Saturday, April 17. The tournament will go on all day at the SAS Soccer Complex.
On Tuesday, April 20 at 10 a.m., the Terrapins will scrimmage DC United at the newly-renovated RFK Auxiliary Practice Field. Maryland will then host another A-League squad on Saturday, April 24, at 1:30 p.m., as the Virginia Beach Mariners visit Ludwig Field.
The Terps welcome their alumni back on Saturday, May 1, for a 3 p.m. alumni game at Ludwig Field to finish the spring slate.
