GREENSBORO, N.C - Maryland's Joe Walters was named this week's Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week, after leading Maryland to a victory over No. 6 Duke.

The attackman led the No. 2 Terrapins to a 17-12 win at Duke with a game-high four goals and six points. Both marks also equaled career highs for the Rochester, N.Y., native. He also scored the game-winning goal, the 13th goal of the game late in the third quarter and dished out two assists.

Overall, the sophomore leads the Terps in goals with seven and total points with nine through just two games.
