Lacrosse Throwback Jersey Auction Winners Announced

April 19, 2004

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The final tabulations for the Maryland men's lacrosse throwback jerseys have been calculated and $7,409 was raised to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Baltimore. Combined with Johns Hopkins total of $10,883, more than $18,000 was raised for charity as a result of the Throwback Jersey Auction held at Homewood Field last Saturday.

The Blue Jays' total will be donated to the Johns Hopkins Children's Center.

"We are thrilled to make such an impact for a great cause with the donations," said head coach Dave Cottle. "The Maryland men's lacrosse program is proud to be involved in the community and we are happy that lacrosse fans were able to make such an impact with their generosity. Thank you lacrosse fans!"

Here are the winners of the auction for the Maryland Throwback Jerseys.
