Men's Lacrosse Remains No. 1 In Polls; Last Chance For Hopkins Game Tickets

    COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The Maryland men's lacrosse team is still No. 1 after blasting defending national champion Virginia, 11-2, last Saturday at Byrd Stadium.

    The Terps host No. 4 Navy this Saturday at Byrd Stadium at 1 p.m. Maryland then heads to Johns Hopkins on April 17 for the 100th game between the storied programs. Tickets are still available through the Maryland ticket office by clicking the link above. Please purchase them soon because they are going fast.

    The Terps cliniched the 2004 ACC Regular-Season Championship with the win over Virginia -- their first since 1998. Maryland, at 8-0 is off to its best start since that 1998 season as well -- which was also the last time the Terps were ranked No. 1 for more than one week during the season.
