NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The University of Maryland women's track and field team finished in the top 15 Sunday on the final day of competition at the ECAC/IC4A Championships in New Haven, Conn. The men's team was led by Harold Manning, who had a fourth-place finish and scored five points for the Terps.

Manning was fourth in the 200 meters with a time of 21.27. He was the only male Terrapin in action Sunday, and helped the team finish with five points.

The women, who finished in 14th place with 23 points, were led by Toni Jefferson and Tia Burley. Jefferson ran the 200 meters in a season-best time of 24.23, scoring four points and placing fifth. Burley was seventh in the 400 meters (1:00.06).

Bria Johnson and Labelle Hillgrove finished 11th (45-07.00) and 19th (43-03.00) in the shot put, respectively. Johnson's mark was a season-long and team-best.
