
Men's Lacrosse Game Vs. Penn To Be Televised On CN8, Comcast SportsNet

COLLEGE PARK, Md.-- Maryland's Senior Day game against No. 13 Pennsylvania will be broadcast live on CN8-TV in the at 1 p.m., this Saturday. The game will also air on a tape-delayed basis on Comcast SportsNet at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
The broadcast crew of Mick Moninghoff and legendary Maryland coach Dick Edell will call the action as the No. 3 Terps close out the regular-season schedule at Byrd Stadium against the Quakers.
On Comcast SportsNet, the game will follow a telecast of the Maryland/North Carolina baseball game as part of the ACC Game of the Week package, which starts at 1 p.m. Comcast will also show the game on a replay on Sunday, May 9 at 10:30 a.m.
The game will be the sixth regular-season lacrosse game televised in 2004, a new school-record. The Terps' games with Towson, Navy and Johns Hopkins were aired by WMAR-TV Channel 2 in Baltimore. College Sports Television (CSTV) aired the Virginia game on April 3 and simulcasted the the Johns Hopkins game. The ACC Championship game against Virginia was aired on the ACC's Regional Sports Networks including Comcast SportsNet.
Last season, the Terps had six games on the television including three in the NCAA Tournament.
