COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The football game on Saturday, Sept. 18 with the University of Maryland playing West Virginia University in Morgantown, W.Va., will be telecast nationally on ESPN2, it was announced Wednesday.
The broadcast of the game will begin at noon Eastern Time, according to the network.
Maryland and West Virginia met in the 2004 Toyota Gator Bowl, with the Terps beating the Mountaineers, 41-7. Maryland also won last year's regular-season matchup, 34-7, in a game played Sept. 20 in Byrd Stadium.
The Terrapins open the 2004 football season at home with games on Sept. 4 against Northern Illinois and Sept. 11 against Temple. Each of those games will begin at 6 p.m.
