MANCHESTER, ENGLAND --
Senior goalkeeper Noah Palmer:
Obviously the plane flight was long, and it was hard to sleep, so everyone was a little tired when we got here. But we got to bed early, so I think we got everything out of our systems and we'll be ready to start playing again.
The bright spot so far has to be the game today, we had some bright spots in the game today. We really haven't been here very long to have any other fun moments.
The team we played today had a distinct style. I don't think we'll play any college team that will play as direct of a style as they did. It was good to play against them, though.
I've been to England twice, so I wasn't shocked by the cars on the other side of the road and the steering wheels on the right side. But what's neat about England is their passion for soccer. In all the bookstores and hear them talking about soccer, it's pretty cool and not something we're used to back in the U.S.
I'm looking forward to going to Scotland, I've never been there. And I'm looking forward to getting to know the guys on the team better, specifically the transfers in the freshmen, we've been around them for a week, but not in this close of quarters.
