Junior forward Jason Garey:
It's been fun. We played a good game the other day. It was a pretty long first day with the flight and everything - not many people got a lot of sleep - it's been good, though. We're having fun, but we've been pretty busy, we haven't had much free time. We're off to the game tomorrow and then hopefully have some more free time tomorrow afternoon.
I forgot to pack my toothpaste, but I figured that out by borrowing someone's. I forgot a phone card and a battery for the alarm clock. Three things I miss about home so far are the nice weather, the food and my girlfriend.
The stadium today was amazing. Man U is the best club team in the world. They've got all the tradition. I mean, we watch these guys on TV, but actually seeing where they play is amazing. It's tough to describe to people who aren't into soccer, but it's where our sport is played at the highest level and where all the people we look up to go to work. If you ever look up to anyone and you get a chance to go to their job, that's pretty special.
My favorite part was just seeing the field, just the first time we came out of the tunnel and seeing how perfect the field is, how many stands there are and how close they are to the field, it just creates a really great atmosphere.
The game tomorrow is going to be amazing, I can't wait. There should be a lot of goals scored, they're playing the newly promoted team, it's going to be exciting for all of us to be there and see how it is. You can see it on TV, but it doesn't really do it justice, so it's going to be fun.
