COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland Athletics Department and WMUC Sports, the student-run sports radio station at the University of Maryland, announced today that WMUC will carry all of head football coach Ralph Friedgen's Tuesday press conferences live on wmucsports.com for the 2004 season.

Fans and out-of-town media alike will be able to access live audio of the press luncheons either by going directly to the WMUC website or by clicking on a link on the right side of the football page on www.umterps.com.

The press conferences, which will take place on Tuesday of every game week this season, begin at 1:00 p.m. WMUC Sports will begin its coverage at 12:45 p.m. each week with a recap of the previous Maryland football game and a preview of the week's upcoming contest. The coverage will segue into Coach Friedgen's weekly address, which begins at 1:00 p.m. Coach Friedgen's first press conference of the season will air on Tuesday, August 31.

In addition to Maryland's regular coverage as part of the Terrapin Radio Network, WMUC Sports will carry every Terrapin football game live on wmucsports.com during the 2004 season. The first football broadcast will take place on Sept. 4 against Northern Illinois, with coverage beginning at 5 p.m. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.

WMUC Sports also broadcasts Terrapin men's and women's soccer, Terrapin men's and women's basketball, Terrapin men's and women's lacrosse, and Terrapin baseball.
