Kick Off the Long Weekend at the Season's First 'Breakfast With Fridge' this Friday

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - "Breakfast with Fridge," the ever-popular Friday morning meeting between Maryland's head football coach and fans of his team, will take place for the first time this season this Friday as the Terrapins await Northern Illinois for its season opener at Byrd Stadium.

Once again this Friday, Terrapin fans will have the opportunity to get up-close and personal with Ralph Friedgen for morning breakfast and "chalk-talk" at the Marriott Inn & Conference Center in College Park. "Breakfast with Fridge" will be held each Friday morning before home football games. Doors open at 7:00 a.m. and Coach Friedgen will address the group from 7:30 a.m. - approximately 8:30 a.m.

There is no cost to attend and a continental breakfast will be provided free of charge. Promotional items from the Maryland Sports Marketing Department and football yard signs will also be available.

The Marriott Inn & Conference Center is located at 3501 University Blvd. East, on the corner of Adelphi Road and University Blvd. Parking is available at the Conference Center Parking Garage. Note: Parking is available in the garage adjacent to the Inn & Conference Center for $1.00 per hour. Please do not park in Lot 1 as it is designated for student parking and subject to ticketing.
