COLLEGE PARK, Md. - This Saturday's University of Maryland football game at West Virginia will have a radio conflict for fans listening in the Baltimore area. The Terrapins' Baltimore flagship, WBAL, will be carrying the Baltimore Orioles game until its completion, but there will be alternatives for Terrapin fans interested in listening to the game.
Saturday's matchup between Top 25 regional rivals will air in Baltimore on WBAL's sister station, 98 Rock (97.9 FM). The WVU game will also be televised by ESPN2 with kickoff at 12:02 p.m. from Morgantown (coverage starts at Noon on television, 11:30 a.m. on radio).
Other options for listeners include XM Satellite Radio and tuning in via the internet using UMTerps.com. Fans in the D.C. area can listen, on the Terrapins' metro-area flagship, WMAL (630 AM) as originally scheduled.
