
Maryland vs. Georgia Tech to Kick Off at 3:30 p.m.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland's October 9 home game against Georgia Tech will be a 3:30 p.m. start time Atlantic Coast Conference officials announced today. The game, which is part of Family Weekend festivities on campus, will be televised regionally by ABC and broadcast by the Terrapin Radio Network (radio pregame starts at 3:00 p.m.). Terp fans outside the local listening area can hear the game on XM Satellite radio channel 181.
The 23rd-ranked Terrapins (3-1, 1-0 ACC) will be looking to move to 2-0 in the conference and avenge last season's 7-3 Thursday night loss to the Yellow Jackets. Maryland is 2-1 against Tech with Ralph Friedgen at the helm.
Georgia Tech heads into this weekend with a 2-1 record (1-1 ACC) as it will play host to ACC newcomer Miami at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The game will take place this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. and will also be televised by ABC.
