Women's Basketball Hosts Exhibition Game

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland women's basketball will host Sports International Group for a preseason tune-up on Sunday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. The Terps' game at Virginia Tech on Sunday, Jan. 2 has also been moved to a 1 p.m. start. The Terps, who are coming off an 18-13 season and a trip to the second round of the 2004 NCAA Tournament, will kick off the 2004-05 slate with a preseason game vs. Sports International Group in Comcast Center. Maryland officially opens the season at Appalachian State on Friday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. and come home on Sunday, Nov. 21 to open the home schedule vs. Siena at 2 p.m. Maryland's ACC opener in Blacksburg, Va., has been moved to an earlier tip-off time and will still be televised on the Regional Sports Network (Comcast SportsNet, Fox Sports South and the Sunshine Network). -TERPS-
