With the win, Maryland improves to 23-39 in the all-time series with Virginia. The Terps have won two out of the last three meetings after dropping 23 of the previous 24.

Kalika France (14 points, eight rebounds tonight) has scored in double figures in five of her last six games and has had at least six rebounds in seven straight games.

Anesia Smith, the ACC's assist leader, had eight assists tonight and has had at least five assists in 12 of the team's 16 games this year.

Virginia's 22 three-point attempts were a season-high by a Maryland opponent.
