2005 Recruiting Celebration Wednesday Night

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Wednesday, February 2nd, is National Signing Day for football and fans can once again welcome the newest Terps to the fold at the 2005 Recruiting Celebration.
WHERE: On campus at the Stamp Student Union's Grand Ballroom. WHEN: Wed., Feb. 2nd. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Program begins at 6:00 p.m. COST: Free for students and MGN Members. $5 for all other fans. PARKING: Free in Lots 1 and Z. $1 per hour in Union Lane Garage. MISC: MGN Members post-event party at 8:00 in Gossett Team House.
A Maryland Gridiron Network production, the 2005 Recruiting Celebration will be hosted by head coach Ralph Friedgen and his staff and will feature food, drinks and a look at the 20-plus recruits signed for '05. Coach Friedgen will talk about the recruits and show highlight videos of each.
With just one day to go until signing day, Rivals.com has the Terrapins' class rated as the 14th-best in the nation.
The event is free to MGN members and Maryland students (IDs for both will be checked at the door). All other fans can attend for $5. Parking is available for free in Lots Z and 1 or for $1 per hour in the Union Lane Garage adjacent to the Student Union.
Doors open at 5:00 p.m. with appetizers and a cash bar being available. The announcement of the '05 signees will begin at 6:00 p.m. There is also a post-event party at the Gossett Team House for MGN members only that will begin at 8:00 p.m.
